West Central Indiana | Does anyone have a good idea of what the difference is between these two? Planning on using SF1, or SF2 max, have Trimble for RTK. Dealer quoted me $2250 for a used 3000, $3200 for new 3000, and around $3900 for new 6000. Trying to figure out the best way to go. If the SF1 accuracy is significantly better with the 6000 than the 3000 I'd be interested in it. |

CND | If going to a higher accuracy, the 6000 is probably worth it because they use sf3 which is supposed to be 1.2" vs 2" for sf2 edit: 3000 sf1 9" 6000 sf1 5.9" according to deereEdited by Indy500 12/15/2016 10:50 |

Guelph Ontario Canada | Remaining SF3000 inventory is at the dealer level only. Could be different offers between dealers. WRT your original question the main difference is the SF6000 has more receiving channels and because of that will be faster to lock on and hold signal. |

West Central Indiana | That's the feedback I'm looking for, I just wanted to figure out if there was any good reason to upgrade. If it increased SF1 accuracy similar to the switch from ITC to 3000, then it might be worth it. |

Wyoming | I disagree, the 6000 does not lose signal as easy as the 3000, and its recovery is faster when it does. Also the 6000 automatically upgrades you to sf3 which has far better repeatability than the 3000 with sf2. |

West Texas | I Disagree, we demoed a 6000 running sf1 and the drift was significantly less running an airseeder than a 3000. |

NW Ohio | Somebody with Deere should set this straight. I've asked this question to several people about the improved accuracy level of SF1 of the 6000 and they've given a shoulder shrug and an "I don't think so." However Deere's website states that the 3000 is 9" on SF1 and 6000 is 6" on SF1. To me, that's a nice upgrade if using for seeding. |

| OK I'll try to answer questions. 6000 is more accurate than 3000 in both SF1 (6 in v 9 in) and in SF2 now SF3 (2 in v 1.2 in). The big difference is 6000 with SF3 will give in season (9 months) repeatability similar to RTK. The $750 3000 discount was a billing discount to dealers to get them to buy the remaining 3000 inventory. If your dealer was sitting on old 3000 inventory then no he did not get the discount. ND | I used to have the ITC but was always losing the signal around or even close to shelterbelts & switched to the 3000 & that problem ended in two outfits. Can you use a 2600 display with the 6000 system, also have a ATU in tractor-can this be used?? |

Clear Lake, IA | We have a 8310RT and have ran the 6000 on SF1 and SF3 both are very good. So I put one of our ITC's with sf1 on the track and there is a drastic difference, not even close. I run that ITC normally on our 4830 to spray pre and it does an OK job. We got done planting and moved the 6000 to the sprayer on sf3, sprayed 700 acres not on planter tracks and it was spot on. Had to bump a 2" right or left a few times but as a whole was very pleased with the performance. |

NE SD | actually with the 6000 you get an sf3 subscription instead of sf2 for the same price. and like said the sf1 is more accurate |
